Picamosco 62 History For Soccer Champions

It is located north of Azcapotzalco, which is a traditional neighborhood. In 1709 a communal and private review was carried out in Inspection of the Cabildo of Mexico City, in which 27 neighborhoods of "Mexicans and Tepanecas" were defined for Azcapotzalco, among them San Martin Xochinahuac.

In 1875, the tracks of the Mexican Railroad were laid in the eastern part of the neighborhood, connecting Azcapotzalco with Tlalnepantla and Cuautitlán. In 1918, an agrarian movement began in the towns and neighborhoods of Santa Bárbara, San Martín Xochinahuac and Santiago Ahuizotla.

This movement took advantage of the new agrarian laws issued by the 1917 constitution and demanded an agrarian distribution of the haciendas. The Deportivo Reynosa was created, which offered soccer tournaments where the picamosco was played.
